Tavares - Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel (Re-recorded / Remastered)

It seems that if you start to peel off the paint from the wall on the driveway, then layer by layer; you will read the whole history of the country over the past thirty years. Everything that came and went left here remained in the stale air between the flights of stairs left to smolder at night in the ashtray on the windowsill. You go from the street, and it’s as if all this cacophony, sounding epochs at once, music of different rhythms and moods presses on your psyche. The sound mixes into porridge and becomes a dissonant noise inside the ringing silence of the entrance, and you can’t make out any words anymore; you can’t even read the meaning. A dozen overhauls have not erased from here this depressive spirit of past with the smell of bleach and tobacco. This spirit claws deep into concrete, and past growls and grimaces at everyone who is trying to put an end to it. - Dmitry Gerashchenko
